Good solid, dependable phone, lots of useful extras for the outdoor type, radio, flashlight, alarm clock, organiser, games & WAP.
Bad Points
On/Off switch can be difficult, leaves a dent the size of the manson meteorite crater in your finger and even then it does not always work.
I leave mine permenantly on anyway.
General Comments
The Nokia 5100 is a good phone, does what you want, simply a bit dated without a camera. Will always have a fond regard for its simplicity of use and general dependability.
My daughter is getting it and I am sure she will use it for a long time to come.
