I was able to purchase a last minute (72 hours before travel) ticket at about 1/3 of the cost found at other travel websites or from the airlines direct. There is a $50.00 service fee, but that is built into the price quote, and I still saved $450.00...on a direct flight on a major airline!
If you use 1800cheapseats, pay attention to the first itinerary confirmation you receive. Mine noted that it was a courtesy reservation until I called in to confirm my credit card number.
