Wonderful lovely staff, excellent food, very clean hotel.
Bad Points
No real bad points to make, only round the pool area it was very slippery.
General Comments
I booked to stay at the San Anton Complex for myself, husband, 2yr old daughter and my parents, and wondered if I had chosen the right place to stay after reading some reviews, but once we were settled in we had the most fantastic time at the San Anton. the food catered for everyone, even our daughter, and was always hot and tasty. our rooms were cleaned thoroughly everyday, and because we had a small child the cleaning lady gave us an extra key to keep the fan on, so our room was always cool. local transport is a cheap way of getting about, buses can be full sometimes, so a little patience is needed, but worth the wait. we saw most of the island by bus for very little money. if you fancy a day in Valletta, get the bus, the ferry is lovely from sliema, but the walk up the streets when you arrive is not for the faint hearted. the boat trips are a must to, and the commentaries give you loads of info of Malta and all the history. The only problem we had on this holiday was that we had to come home.
