Great car all round, great handling generally, great brakes especially on the 2.5 'S'. Good strong engine and box.
Sloppy handbrake, can be hopeless on snow and ice (too much grunt no traction control) so winter use is restricted, tiny back seat a bit thirsty. Expensive insurance.
Porsche only ever made the 924 with a 2.0 and a 2.5s engine, I had the 1986 Porsche 924 2.5 'S' for 4 years and it was a fantastic car, if you fancy standing out and making a monkey of Japanese hot hatch's buy one.
