Do not go to Singlepoint, and be warned Vodafone have now bought them out, so you may now need to leave Vodafone. Where do I begin? I paid for a new upgrade phone, they sent me an old one, which still had the diverts set up to the previous owner, but completely denied it and refused to exchange it. They promised to send a free in car charger and hands free kits but despite weekly reminders, these never materialised. Their staff are ignorant, unhelpful, extremely rude and incompetent.

    It's called a Quality Assured handset and you would have been advised of that at the time of purchase from a legal standpoint AND because the calls are monitored. If that is contrary to the case then the relevant party would have been severly reprimanded or worse! ALL orders are logged and under the Data Protection Act you have a right to copies of your account to check on any discrepencies. If the salesperson blatantly sent you a 'QA' phone then I'm sure the relevant email to a manager would have resolved the issue. Unfortunately as the saying goes, one bad apple ruins the bunch. Ps. Vodafone is a FANTASTIC company and reveres it's customers!

    Why on earth do you think vodafone have bought singlepoint?? The sales team are better, the customer services team is better & they actually care about their customers unlike many, MANY companies I will not even bother to list. As for Phones 4u... yes they are a bunch of monkeys but they are a different company altogether so any issues with them should not be directed at singlepoint! You will know in the future not to use phones for you but this should not reflect so badly on Singlepoint.

    I have dealt with Singlepoint directly, and know this to be complete rubbish.

    Perhaps Vodaphone bought Singlepoint because they felt they could do much better with the systems/resources covered under the sale. Must have felt they could get more out of the resources for the purchase to have been worth their while...

    As a matter of fact singlepoint are taking on vodafones computer system & voda are also replacing all technology in the call centre. People just have a screwed up vision of singlepoint from when they were owned by Caudwell but they've come a long way since then & the amount of money vodafone have invested in them should prove that to all the cynics out there.
