General Comments
I've been going to Umberto's for years and have never come close to having an average meal - it's always first class. Umberto (owner/chef) oversees every meal that comes out of the kitchen ensuring the highest of standards. The restaurant gets busy later in the evenings, so go early - you'll need the extra time to read through the extensive menu.
