General Comments

We (the wife and I) have owned an Ericsson A1018s phone for 4 years now and it has worked flawlessly during the whole time. It has been used every day for 4 years and only now is the original battery showing signs of age!! It is by todays standards an antiquated phone, a dinosaur even! But as (4 years ago) we wanted a simple phone to make calls and send the odd text message we got it and boy are we glad we did. And no we don't work for Sony Ericsson either! This phone is like a brick, and it has an aerial sticking out the top, but it works and works and works (what do you want a phone for? to look pretty or to work?). There seems to be a lot of reviewers (not just on this site) who have previously owned Nokia phones and just don't seem able to adjust to something different, it's almost as if it's a case of, "if it ain't a nokia, its rubbish". We are glad we bought this phone and would reccomend it still, to anyone who wanted the same as us ie: a simple phone which will just work with basic features for that it's a straight 10 out of 10.
