General Comments

I just received my new Fast Deer KL-3B 4.5. Looks pretty good out of the box. I was able to bounce a soda can across the yard 30-40 ft. Hell of a trigger pull, I thought I had the safety on. I can't even begin to guess what the pull weight is. Inside I tried to shoot some groups and found there is not enough elevation in the sight. Full up and it was still 1 in. low at 20ft. (front door to back door). After a closer inspection it looks like the barrel droops?. I can't see where it's bent but it's sure not on the same plain as the receiver top. It dose shoot well, I was able to shoot ragged holes. Just not where I was aiming. Good power, hit a penny hard enough to crack it.

One thing nice about the Fast Deer is that any problem you might have with barrel droop is easily correctable.(Barrel droop seems to be common to just about all Chinese airguns). With time the trigger pull and the entire operating mechanism becomes smoother and quieter after a "break in" period. You can expect to have a lifetime of enjoyment from the Fast Deer, which is undoubtedly the best value in the marketplace for any airgun.

Since I posted the review, I have done a "Charlie DaTuna" tune plus some tricks of my own. It's amazing what can be done with the trigger. I was hoping for a little more power than I have, 5.75FPEM. ALL in all, it's a great little gun and a blast to shoot.
