General Comments

I have just read with alarm the review of tesco petrol stations. My car was fine today until I refilled with Tesco petrol then it conked out after 1/2 a mile. It's now in the garage being repaired. I don't know yet if it was this petrol but two independent mechanics said it looked like a fuel problem. DO not use these cheap fuels. I usually use BP or Shell and have no problems.

    I have used Tesco fuels without any problems for 3.5 years and would be confident to recommend them.

    Do you realise that Esso supplies Tesco with fuel?
    Esso is a premium brand and Tesco sells Esso fuels at low prices - not to mention you also get club points.
    So unless there is contamination at the Tesco station, I do not see where the problem comes from.
    Do you have final confirmation that it really is a fuel problem?
