General Comments

The layout and rooms in the Hyatt Regency Hotel are so well thought out. It is divided into sections - almost like being in separate villas - so despite the size of the hotel, it never felt crowded. Our room was amazing - very good and every room has its own ample sized balcony.
The food was ok - can't quite put my finger on it, but the evening meals did become a bit repetitive.
The bar is designed very well, but the drinks so expensive - which was a real shame. For example - a bottle of Moet and Chandon champagne was equal to 140 British pounds and a bottle of fruscati was equal to 56 British pounds. We used to buy alcohol when going through the border at the duty free and store it in our fridge! If you do buy drinks in the hotel - tax is already added, and service charges. After 9.30pm another "late night" charge is added on top of the price!
Good reef for snorkelling, although the sea was a bit choppy when we were there.
The pools are fantastic - spread out well, and good sizes too. There is even a lap pool if you want to do some serious laps.
General gift shop expensive - not much room for bartering - and unfriendly shop owner. We walked along to the Marriot Hotel's shop - much friendlier shop owner and happy to barter to a more reasonable price.
Taxi's were a bit expensive - one company has the monopoly from the Hotel, so difficult to get realistic prices.
Generally speaking a lovely hotel - but drink prices need to lower (this stopped a good atmosphere, as people avoided the bar). It would be good too if the restaurant provided some themed nights for the menu, to add some variety.
