General Comments

We opened an account with Singlepoint a week back based on a telephone call from a sales person and we've had so much problems within the first week itself that we had to cancel our account....

We ordered two phones Nokia 6610i and Sony Ericsson T630.....

They send two phones but one was Sony Ericsson T610
They send two phones but one did not come with a
sim card.
I made the deal...and asked that one bill should be on my wife's name....they send both the phone on my wife's name...meaning I cannot call them to discuss the details....I give my bank account details but I cannot discuss the details with them...how strange can that be.

Upon calling the customer services they were not ready to talk to me.

I had requested for my current phone number to be ported to the new line. When I booked the deal the sales person said it can be done by the end of Sept 2004. But I called the customer service and I spoke to them (after they spoke to my wife) they said it can't be done. Called them again next day they said it can only be done by end of April next year.

We were a bit not sure of our deal when the bill came. We were promised 6 months half price line rental...The bill showed only first 3 months. upload calling the customer services on four different occasion we were told four different tarrifs.

Nearly 10 days on I still haven't received the sim card for my phone. I have decided to cancel one of the accounts now. Have sent the phone back by post hopefully they will recieve it and apparently we have to call them after they have recieved the phone back....

    Singlepoint do not call customers to setup contracts, I am probably taking a very accurate guess here in thinking your contract was perhaps setup by dial a phone one of many independent retailers who call customers and perhaps identify themselves as singlepoint, dial a phones policy for free line rental is you will get the first 3 months on your first 3 invoices, you will receive vouchers for your last 3 months usually to be claimed at the 6 or 9th month of your contract.
