Good Points
Style, design, included extras, ecconomy.

Bad Points
Depreciation, brakes.

General Comments
This Rover 75 2.0 CDTI Connoisseur SE estate car was my second Rover Connoisuer. The first one Rover bought back because it had had seven sets of front discs and pads in 18 months. As they could not find out what the problem was they agreed to buy it back. I was so happy with the car that I ordered another one, this time with the 135 bhp engine. Not only was the extra power superb the economy was better acheiving 48 mpg on a run. The problems happened after just 1,100 miles. The car suffered from the same problems as the first one, brake judder. I have now been without the car for three weeks and have asked Rover to take it back. A wonderful car with luxury, ecconomy and power combined with great retro design just a shame they cannot get the brakes right.

I have owned a Rover 75 and still own a MGZTT CDTi. after 6 years. Only problem I have had has been with the ECU failing due to water filling up the compartment that it sits in....clear the drain hole regular and should be no problem. I love the car and would definately buy another and another......

I had a over 75 cdt diesel estate, top of the line Conn se model. Ran it for 90000 miles. Not a single problem. The most reliable car I have owned. It was comfortable, well equiped, great value and low cost to own and run. A great car.

David, i can understand your comments but if you think it is a good car apart from the brakes then you wouldnt be giving it such a low rating. Your ratings are rather unfair

I have been driving a Rover 75 Tourer for over two years and have now covered over 55,000 miles. I have not had a single problem. It a great car to drive and is very relaxed at crusing speed on the motorway. Recently I travelled up to Newcastle with two friends and we agreed to share the driving. My friend who started the first part of the journey enjoyed driving this car so much he insisted on driving all the way.
