Good Points

A very nice clean and well kept apartment's.
3 swimming pool's a children's and adult's together ,a small pool and a large pool where all the activity's are centred around with a bar that sells most kind's of food that you could want for an afternoon lunch.
The apartment's are what you would expect for self catering, they are also well kept and maid service is five time's a week no service on Tuesday and Thursday.
All the staff speak a degree of English, and are friendly.

Bad Points

Bad point's I can't really think of any except be aware there is a telephone in ll of the room's, dial 8 for an outside line and the world is your oyster (children and mobile's) you know what I mean.

General Comments

The surrounding area of the Puerto Del Sol apartments is closed in by the marina where the other half have their boats; it's worth a look in case you win the lottery. There are a few bars and cafe's but little over priced. The other side of the apartments is closed in by the gardens with the usual array of palm trees, there is a shop close by but again this is also a bit pricey.
A little tip for mother's, make sure you take enough nappies for kids as these are about 14 euros for 20.
The closest beach is Estforte which is very small
Better option is the beach at Cala Gran about 4 euros in taxi.
Telephone's are not to bad to ring home your rep will tell you about there phone card which actually work's out more expensive than ringing from your hotel room.
Eating out in Cala d'or may be a problem in as much as the amount of place's to go and' may I recommend all of them for good food and price's
Some of them do happy hour after 10.30pm always worth asking 2 for 1 on your drink's make's for a cheaper holiday and keep's all the men happy.
There is also good array of shop's selling everything you could want for the folk's back home but don't expect to save much on the perfume and aftershave it's not much cheaper than back in England.
And one last tip if you ask for direction's and they say it's 10 mins then double it , and if there's more than 2 of you it's cheaper to get a taxi than the bus or the train into cala d'or from the hotel.
