Good Points

You don't realise how good Fuji cameras are until you try some other make. It's the design simplicity of the software that enables you to control this machine that wins over other makes. Excellent for close-ups and powerful zoom.

Bad Points

I have found that it can tend to wobble in some shots. I wish it had a lithium battery to make it lighter to carry. I also have found that it's not so good with reds.

General Comments

Fuji FinePix S602 - This is my second Fuji, the first I still have - the 401 which is also a mpeg player. Great to carry around in your pocket, and still good photos. I went for this higher performance camera for the optical zoom and macro photography.
Enough has been said in other reviews about how good this camera is, but what I think's worth emphasising is how good Fuji's software design is. I have tried other cameras: Nikon, Canon, Pentax and Kodak, and in my view, the Fuji is just the most intuitive. It is, in fact, the downside of digital cameras today. They are, in effect, like little computers, except, unlike computers, each one has its own operating system. Not that I'm in favour of Microsoft world domination, but it would be rather good if all cameras operated in the same way.
