Good Points

Highly accurate for a spring gun. Comfortable to use good quality materials are used with almost '0' rust in 2 years of shooting rabbit in Scotland. Well made and reliable.

Bad Points

Quite heavy and don't like the pellet gate as the angle they get loaded in the field fairly marks the pellet in the field situation.

General Comments

I very much like using my Gamo CF-30 as it has the feel of a cold killer. Although some may argue that it lacks character I personally enjoy the look and feel of a real gun and find much to recommend its use on small to medium quarry say up to a hare at 30-35 metres (around 100ft). Although it can be a little heavy, that of course can be a benefit and not just a hindrance. When judging a spring gun, just remind yourself of the years of perfectly good shooting you and maybe your grandfather had with the guns of old, the accuracy and power not to mention the value for money make nearly all modern air guns almost incomparable to those guns, so choose now or forever hold your 'piece'.
