Pretty good
Lack of vehicles
Day of Defeat is the war that took place in Europe, not Asia or Africa. That leaves out the Russians and the Japanese. Secondly, the Canadians were pretty well British. The comments about pilots and navy, if you have noticed, there are no other military sections in the game except for infantry. On the map caen, it wouldn't make much sense to add a little badge saying "Canadian" having it on the soldiers' sholders. Don't get me wrong, Canadians did do a lot, but as far as the game goes, it focuses on the Americans vs the Germans. Why aren't you guys complaing for the resistance forces, there were a lot of those. What about the poor Italians?
I think the game is good as it is. We're not playing the game because, "Oh look. I can be Canadian". You play the game because you use mind, skills, and teamplay to get the job done. You're not supposed to sit around looking at each others' uniforms saying "Oh look, new boots". No. Now, I think you guys were unfair with the rating you gave. The maps are far better than any battlefield map. I actually believe I'm fighting for something when playing DoD, cause the maps are basicly all cities. Who wants to play open warfare, when you can set up defences or assault a building. Far better then running for 5 mins to find a tank killing your butt and doing it over and over again.
