Layman's Review of Tippmann Sl-68 2

Overall Rating

4.5 stars

Good Points

Inexpensive. Pump. Tippmann. Cool. Reliable. Backbottle air is in a lower spot, to allow sighting. Cup seal is guranteed for life.

Bad Points

Works poorly with small bore paint. The cleaning window allows small paint to get hung, and therefore chopped in it. Use larger bore like Marballizer size (.68-.69) and you're good to go. Also small aftermarket choices due to not being produced anymore.

General Comments

Tippmann Sl-68 2:
I have had many many pumps. They are what I use primarily, and I have shot Illusions, Phantoms, Sheridans, and Nelsons. The SL-68II is truly reliable. The only problem that I have had is the window getting balls caught and letting me chop them. Look on eBay if you want one - they are usually under $100 USD (around 66 pounds). They are relatively efficient on gas, and will hardly ever not work. SL-68II's will still work when your Kingman product is long gone. Good gun all around.
