I have had my punto sporting 1.6 8v for 8 years now and have not had a single problem apart from replacing worn out tyres, brake pads and an exhaust. Its been so good im replacing it with a 1.4 16v sporting and keeping this one for the misses
Bad Points
1.6 engine is a bit noisey at speed

Overall this Fiat Punto Sporting 1.6 8v has been a little belter of a car.
