Good Points

The car is excellent, they were very helpful until the point of sale. Didn't feel pushed or forced into buying the car.

Bad Points

Their after sales customer care is apalling.

General Comments

When buying the car from Lookers Stockport Car Dealers it was explained that the key they held had broken but they had ordered one and would contact us in about a week to arrange for it to be coded to the vehicle. After taking our car home we noticed a few problems (Friday). Nothing too major but on a brand new car you expect that things should be right. We tried to contact Lookers but they were closed for the evening. We went away for the weekend the next day so contact Lookers once again on our return (first thing Tuesday morning). On speaking to the sales man and explaining that we had noticed a couple of dints in the rear door, approximatley 6 dints with chipped paint over the back wheel arch. The cigarette lighter did not work, there was a piece missing off the rear window wiper and there were scratch marks on the interior. We were told that the problems were not there when the car left the showroom we must have done them ourselves. Not happy with this my husband complained and eventually they agreed to take a look. We took the car in the next day, the manager explained there was nothing they could do about the dints in the car, we must have done these ourselves and as a good will gester they would pay half towards the repair. But they agreed to fix the other problems. We arranged to go back and did, they fixed the problems and the key had arrived, they then spent about 2 hours trying to code the key, in the end I left (as I had to collect the children from school) with the original broken key (which we were using as a fob) pulled to pieces and no longer working the new key (which the fob was now working but the key would not) and a spare key which would not control any of the central locking etc. I am going back today and hopefully they will sort the key we'll just have to see.
