General Comments

Just situated next to Royal Quays Shopping Outlet in North Shields, Wet 'n' Wild can be found quite easily. The changing rooms are unisex and there are plenty changing booths to privately change.

The lazy river is a good laugh or a good place if you want to relax away from the slides.
There is an outside part of the lazy river next to a picnic area which can get cold up in the north east. In the centre of the lazy river there is a Childs water park with small slides and various other fun things to do. Situated next to these to there are two very relaxing Jacuzzis.

Now onto the water slides and there is plenty to choose from, starting with the slow rides as you climb the steps The Mistral and The Pinball are fun for the smaller ones of the family, as are the other rides The Hurricane and The Cyclone which are medium rides. The Calamity Canyon is rides on donut shaped floats where u just relax and let the water take you down in your own time.

Further up there is the fast rides which start with The Tornado where you can race a friend all the way to the bottom which is very fun. The there are two more rides on inflatable starting with The Black Hole where two people ride through complete darkness at quite a fast speed. The other inflatable ride is The Abyss the newest attraction at Wet 'n' Wild which is at a terrific speed, it is quite short but is fun all the same jumping in the air then ending up vertical at the finish. Now onto the last ride which is a vertical drop at a fantastic speed and is the best in my opinion of the water slides, The Kamikaze is at the very top of the Wet 'n' Wild tower and is only for the brave. Finally there is the wave pool which throws everybody about the pool area which every part of the family can enjoy.

There is a cafe and amusements arcade situated in the centre but the prices are a little high for the food offered, this is fast food eg. fries and burgers etc.

There is plenty of parking and coaches and buses are welcome.

All in all this is a fun day for the family!
Just one thing, the centre is very busy on bank holidays and weekends so the best time to go is during the week.
