General Comments

I was disappointed when I got to London Zoo, to see their new arrival - a Komodo Dragon. There is a big new enclosure, lots of hype and information on boards on the pathway that leads to the enclosure and then it's a case of - where is it? These creatures grow to about 3 metres, this chap was a bit on the small side - it will be a good few years before you will be able to really see what he is like.
Be prepared not to see too many animals if the weather isn't quite right - too cold, too wet or too hot and the animals disappear into their dens/homes etc and can't be seen from the outside.
Get there early too, the park closes at 5.30, so you need to make the most of the £13.00 entrance fee.
