Good Points

I give the Beta a 10 out of 10 because you dont have to really pay much attention to them, just feed them and clean their water, otherwise they are a pretty self-sufficient fish to have and they are beautiful.

Bad Points

They are very agressive towards are other fish that has long fins or bright colours.

General Comments

My male Beta is in great condition. I have had him for about a year and a half. I do not fight him, I just keep him fit by feeding him live food and breeding him, but he is getting a bit old for that. Now I just keep him in a 4-5 litre tank to keep him happy. My female is in a 6 gallon tank with some other fish, but my male beta is my favourite so he is by himself on the computer desk keeping me happy when I am on the computer.

Respect given for chrisin80r's review.

I disagree with this review since it offers bad advice such as keeping one in a '4-5' litre space of water. Bad fishkeeping practices in my opinion.
