Easy to use, not too huge for the kitchen side.
NOT dishwasher -proof.
I bought this Magimix Juicer two years ago and I have been very pleased with it's ease of use, to the extent that I have used it every morning to juice apples for my children's breakfast. I don't usually buy 'appliances' such as food blenders etc as they take up too much space and don't get used because I hate washing all the fiddly bits. The reason why I bought this was the drum claimed to be dishwasher -proof. I soon found it wasn't - the drum is part plastic, part metal, and when it heats up, the metal splits the plastic. I have had 5 drums now replaced without any problem by Magimix. They told me to put the drum in the upper basket, and to use the 35 degree wash. This of course doesn't get any thing else clean, however I have obeyed these instructions and the drum still splits. This last time my son has swallowed tiny pieces of plastic in his apple juice. If you don't have time to wash this product by hand, don't buy it.
