Roger Davies, Peter Houghton, Mastering Psychology - This is the Second Edition to the 'Mastering Pyschology' series. What was most disappointing about this book is that it didn't bring up anything that we haven't already heard in the first. It talks about memory, animal learning, intelligence, neuopyschology, statistics, but seems to just 'skim' along the surface of these issues, and doesn't explore the history or meaning behind it all.
This book is not recommended for anyone that wants to learn about 'symptons' of certian mental disorders, or wants an in-depth explanation of the history to psychology.
This book is probably more recommeneded for those who just want a quick outline of the important parts of psychology.
Most suited for a student studying psychology.
