Good Points

Clean well appointed apartments
Clean well looked after pool & common areas
Friendly helpful staff


Bad Points

Building work opposite the 2 bedroom apartments
Noisy traffic on road in front of 2 bedroom apartments.
Thin walls!


General Comments

Very nice well run development, only real fault with the Green Golf Resort is that walls are not very soundproof.
The road outside the development fronts the 2 bedroom apartments & is busy all night with noisy traffic mainly taxis. There is currently
(Sept 04) building work opposite which starts at 07.30 in morning!
Tenerife itself seems to be going downhill, noisy, dirty, lots of building sites, heavy traffic & rude staff at tourist attractions.
Everything seems to be expensive now as well.
Having been 4 times will not be returning.

    I have also just come back from green golf apartments. It is not opposite a noisy road, as only our apartments are here. It is only used for courtesy bus and taxis for the guests at green golf, the way this fella says it you'd think it was on a main busy road. In fact you can only come in one way as it’s a dead end on the opposite end. Builders didn’t wake you up, you could hardly here it and I was opposite it, you most certainly couldn’t here it a the pool side in the day either. The taxi drivers are friendly and helpful and they aren’t noisy at night dropping guests off. I will agree that I found Las Americas a bit tacky but there was also some good places to go to and would go back.

    Thank you Karen for that. I was worried there as we are booked to go 26th Nov. Every other review I've read has been extremely positive so I was a bit disappointed to read John's. I suppose you can't please everyone! We had a letter from our tour operator informing us of building works. I just hope this wont affect our holiday too much. Maybe you can recommend some nice restaurants etc..??

    of course I don't like your views...I need this holiday and its already booked! I’ll be back after my holiday to agree or disagree with you. Still.... I hope you are just over sensitive to noise. Maybe you can recommend some nice places to eat and drink which will make our holiday a little better for us???
