Good Points

Bright, sharp picture
Vivid colours
Excellent design
DVI-D input


Bad Points

Fiddly onscreen display.
Manual is a bit lacking. You need to refer to the documents on the CD-ROM to find out how to operate the OSD.
Small design flaw on the frame means the top middle of the frame buckles up slightly.


General Comments

Iiyama ProLite E431S - This is a superb monitor with a bright, crisp, sharp display in all resolutions as well as its native one of 1280x1024. Unlike other monitors, running the monitor at 1024x768 doesn't have much impact on the quality of the image and in fact it's an absolute joy to use with games that don't support 1280x1024. The colours are vivid and the screen has DVI input, which makes the already superb picture even better.

An excellent monitor for the price. Highly recommended.
