- Value for money

I bought Frank Skinners autobiography purely because it was one of a select few books that would happily fit in my coat pocket when I am on the tube in the mornings. It was a toss up between this and Kylie's, and although (with no disrespect to Frank) Kylie's photos were more appealing, I just wanted a book that would have me in stiches. I'm more into observational humour, and I didn't think that without seeing him on the TV it would have the same affect. But it did, from the opening chapter I was hooked. My usual hour and a half long train journey into work, which was always a drag, just doesn't seem long enough now - I get dissapointed when the train pulls up at London Bridge. Franks honesty is well publisised with this book, but also he has a charming insecurity which I find refreshing in todays 'celebrities' (not that Frank would regard himself as such). Great book, great read, and I hope Nora wasn't too dissapointed with the honesty.
