Good Points

10% discount for most items instore for new home owners for six months


Bad Points

Only for NEW home owners with proof of ownership.
Can only be used for six months
Focus can be expensive - (but do have a price promise)
Cannot be used on reduced or sale items.


General Comments

By taking proof of home owner ship and filling in an application form at focus DIY we were able to receive a discount card giving us a 10% discount, for six months on most items in store, including doors, wallpaper, paint etc.

The don't really advertise it very well, I heard it by word of mouth, and a number of my friends have taken the offer up as well and are equally pleased.

    Just wanted to give you some positive feedback for the very high standard of service that I received today when shopping at the Focus DIY Winnersh branch. The person in question is the floor manager of the store. I was so impressed with how helpful the above staff member was. This person is a credit to the store and to Focus. More staff like this would definitely lead to more positive customer feedback.

    Focus DIY do offer a 10% discount card for home movers, which are clearly advertised in all stores, and Focus have started to send out discount application forms via estate agents.
    You can use your discount card on most items, including sale items and large sale items like kitchen and bathroom sales. The only thing you can not use them on are garden power tools and garden sheds.
    Yes they do only last six months, but Focus do send out extensions on the cards, and also often send out 15% discounts to customers.
