Good Points

Good for those if hair is naturally fairly straight, and you don't want to spend loads on ceramic straighteners.


Bad Points

Absolutely useless if you have even vaguely frizzy hair


General Comments

Babyliss 2030 Straight & Shine Shot of Steam Hair Styler - I can see where the idea came from for these straighteners - it's like a steam iron. However, what Babyliss failed to realise is that if your hair is even slightly frizzy, any moisture (e.g., steam) makes it worse; so the hair only stays straight for five minutes.

If you don't want to spend a great deal of money on straighteners, that's fine, but I would advise you not to get any product that has "steam technology" as it's not worth it! Especially as you can now get reasonably inexpensive ceramic straighteners, which are great.
