Good Points

Refinement is excellent. The Fuel ecconomy for the type of car is good.

Bad Points

Some features are a bit down-market. Insufficient internal storage close to the driver.

General Comments

The Jaguar X-Type Estate 2.0 Diesel executive car is exceptionally good with respect to refinement and performance. Very good torque means that it is easy and relaxed to cruise at high speed.
The only critisisms are some features on the car are a little down-market such as the fuel cap release and the manual rear windows on the Classic model. A trivial annoyance is the lack of coin storage for road tolls etc.
Average fuel ecconomy achieved approx. 40mpg.

I would agree with the refinement of the car and that some of the trim can feel a little cheap - the air con / radio centre console for one.

Choose the 's' version recently released, which is a hybrid of the Sport (half leather sports seats, larger alloys) and the SE (better air con, rear electric windows).

I don't think the engine is as good as the Audi 1.9tdi (previous car) and you certainly cover the car behind in 2mm of soot if you put your foot down.

An average car that breaks down regularly.
'Jaguar Assistance' not helpful when you breakdown which is often.
I will never buy jag again, Nor will anyone else in my company as it has just been taken off the list of company cars due to the issues above.
