Good Points
Image quality in normal light generally very good.
A good range of manual functions few of which I have used.
Bad Points
Long delay between depressing the shutter button and the picture being taken means it is not suitable for action shots.
Very poor flash capability.
General Comments
The Nikon Coolpix 5000 is an old camera that can take some good pictures. The most irritating feature is the shutter delay. The moveable LCD is an excellent feature.
