Good Points

Sunrise Apartments had a great pool and was in an ideal location for catching a sun tan. Weather was fab- 30-40 degrees! Staff are all excellent and food served at bar was really nice. Nightlife was fantastic! Costs 6Euros for a taxi into Kavos where there are plenty of bars and clubs that stay open until late. Drinks are reasonably priced.


Bad Points

A lot of mosquito's and wasps...but you get used to it. I didn't like wasps at all before I came but now it's cured my fear! :) Rooms are a bit basic, but clean.


General Comments

Hi there! Just got back from Corfu today. Me and my sister, Emma stayed 4nights at the Sunrise Apartments- we didn't get off to a great start as we were locked out of our room at 4.00am!! I was shocked by the huge amount of mosquitos! However, the following day we bought a mosquito repellent and plugged it in the wall- worked a trick! :) but we got bit when clubbing in the night. The nightlife in Kavos is absolutely amazing!! Especially for young people like us who are there for the sun and the partying! We celebrated my sister's birthday- got very drunk...and had a hangover, but it was worth it- drinks are good value, esp. when buying a few, you get discounts etc in most bars/clubs. Music that they play is great- all stuff in the charts- R&B, pop, dance music etc. Sunrise apartments include basic rooms but a lovely pool and sunbeds surrounding it- with places to lie and get a great tan, and places to relax in the shade when the heat gets too high- it was 30-40degrees when we were there! The staff are all great too- especially sexy SPIROS!!! who was friendly, charming and just Gorgeous!! I'm sure I will be returning again- I recommend Sunrise Apartments to young lively people, because the nightlife is great and only a short taxi ride away and you're not in the centre of the action so it's great for families and children too. It suits everyone's needs :)
