Good Points

Excellent clean and friendly hotel. Food choice superb. Would definately go back there and would highly recommend.


Bad Points

As our rooms were next to the lifts it could get a little noisy at night.


General Comments

We stayed at the Estival Park Hotel between 6th & 20th August 2004 and I have to say that we all were extremely impressed with it. It was immaculately clean, food choice was brilliant (and I am a fussy eater) and the staff were friendly and polite (especially to my children). Nothing was too much trouble for them. The restaurant staff worked so hard - they were there first thing in the morning and last thing at night but still managed to keep smiling the whole time.

The beach at La Pineda is beautiful (if you ignore the oil refineries further along the coast) and that too was kept clean. We spent a few days down at the beach and enjoyed ourselves.

Port Adventura was a great day out. We paid the extra money to have a gold express ticket (17.50 on top of entrance fee) and I have to say it was worth every penny as we did not queue for more than 5 minutes for any ride which meant one day was long enough to see shows and do all the rides.

If you go to this hotel visiting Tarragona is a must. It is a beautiful old Roman town and is again spotlessly clean as is the beach there to. We took the bus to Tarragona and it cost us 1.10 euros each.

We visited Barcelona for the day and again made our way there independently by bus (15.90 euros each return). The nou camp stadium was superb - but I do have to say that one day is not enough to see all the sights of this city.

Overall our holiday scored a 10 out of 10!!
