Good Points

Takahashi's major love story. Incredibly heart-warming, as well as insanely funny. All of the major characters are lovable as the their developement increases over the series. By far, one of the most serious, yet hilarious, series by Takahashi.

Bad Points

You want bad points? Sorry, I don't see any. Not many series I can say that about.

General Comments

Rumiko Takahashi, Maison Ikkoku - This is a story of a run-down boarding house, called Maison Ikkoku, and the people that live there. The main male character, Godai, is a "ronin" (basically, a failure). He falls in love with the new manager, Kyoko Otonashi. She is a young widow, who soon finds out why the last manager just "up and left"! The other tenants, Mrs. Ichinose, Mr. Yatsuya and Akemi, are insane.
They party way too much and cause the two budding love birds much grief (albeit in a funny way). It all leads to a wonderful love story, with many wacky adventures for all.
