Very stylish, grippy bottom
NO LACE GUARDS, horrible ollie toe construction, falls apart in a week, gets foamy on bottom when grip wears away at an alarming rate, no padding on insole, tongue straps lose tension and becomes pointless, cost sucks for what you receive.
Vans Rowley XL2 are over $70 after tax at pac-sun. Don't buy if you plan to skate in them. what's the point after that then? Very sweet looking, and grippy on the bottom. The positive points stop there. Everything else sucks and vans needs to get their act together. lace guards are one of my pet peeves. terrible if the shoe is without. their entire fall 04' collection doesn't have lace guards. The ollies construction I've noticed is shared with other shoe companies such as DVS and their shoe MILAN. falls apart. My pair are currently shoe-gooed like mad. they lost my business. Also very annoying when you have to change the laces every time one tears. they're becoming a lousy company. My next pair of shoes would be I paths.
