General Comments

Habbo hotel is an online chat room featured in many of languages. You can talk to anyone from New Jersey to Australia. You can buy extras such as furniture and credits with real money, which is quite expensive speaking the next day being a newer player you end up hacked or scammed. Then when you try to call for help to get an online moderator to help you. They never come. Your down 50 dollars from buying credits and no furniture or credits left. And if you are lucky and get an online moderator they seldom come or refund any bit of your furniture.
In habbo hotel although you might walk up to strangers and talk to them do you really know who these people are? You might say well he is a hobba (a hotel moderator must be 18 or older) so you hand over your Aol instant messenger name. But should you really trust this person? I find that habbo hotel is not a safe environment for children and teenagers. This is an easy way to kidnap anyone.
A common phrase on habbo hotel is A/S/L (Age/Sex/Location). Although that couldn't hurt a fly asking that but many of these habbos lie. Here's a situation that could happen. A hobba becomes friends with you. You give him your personal details with him asking non chantely so he couldn't get in trouble. He finds you live close to where he lives. He gives you his Aol instant messenger name. He traces your IP off that and finds out where you live. Another scenario you talk to a random guy on the hotel. You talk to him for about a year and you think it is time to meet. He says he is 15. When you go to meet him he is a 40 year old man. And this is a really safe environment for our children/teenagers? I find the hotel is filled with more adults than children and teenagers. I have spent a lot of money on this hotel to see my daughter feeling uncomfortable and losing a lot of her credits. I find this despicable. I would recommend not going to habbo hotel. If you decide to check out habbo hotel. Don't say I didn't warn you.
