Good Points

This product is great! It's is comparable to Salon quality styling aids without the price! It has a light fragrance and texture, distributes nicely, cuts down on frizz, doesn't weigh down fine hair!


Bad Points

I needed to apply about 8 pumps to cover my hair, well more than the recommended usage. (I have medium-thick fine wavy hair.) Doesn't remove all frizz. I can't say how this product will work in more humid/tropical climates like Florida. (where I'll be living soon)I live in the midwest with moderate humidity.


General Comments

LOreal Smooth Intense is great. I recently went to the salon to have my hair color corrected with a haircut. I didn't have enough money to spend on expensive Salon products that perform well. My stylist showed me the texture of TIGI's Girl Toys Shine serum which is supposed to tame flyaways and smooth dry ends. It has a light texture and he said that's what a [good product] should feel like. Aided with this information I went to my local supermarket and searched through numerous products looking for the right texture, color and of course, price! It costed me around $5 which was about the same as similiar products, if not less. I wasn't afraid to pump a little in my hand while still in the store. I was thrilled when everything matched exactly what he recommended.
After washing my hair, I patted it gently then applied two pumps to the two front sections on either side of my head, then two in the back and one underneath, all the while smoothing it through. I only applied a little of Grund's hard gel, the same way I applied the anti-frizz. I twisted sections all over my head, lightly bouncing each twist up. I let my hair air dry... and voila! Beautiful light and full curls! I use Citre shine shine mist laminator to add more shine when my hair is completely dry. (Another fabulous product)I received a lot of compliments on my hair!
Overall, I am impressed with this product, it did everything it promised to.
