AT $99 this is a great MP3 encoder/player and FM stereo radio..on 5 gig drive.
The screen text is not too clear. Needs better backlighting. The software mini disc that comes with it is corrupted...we checked two...BUT you can download from their site...so that is a workaround.
I bought a Bantam Inc BA1000 about two weeks ago... it is a great little player... very clear sound. It has FM radio, Voice recording at 8k/s very archiving friendly. The music recording is just unbelievable, direct analog to digital conversion into MP3 and WAv formats. Great for saving old 8 TRACKS/cassetts/reel 2 reel/and LP soundtracks. The unit could improve on the screen...backlighting as well as text needs improvement
Excellent price..$99...I will give it *****.
