Easy to use
Plenty of text message storage space
Lots of multimedia features ie themes, tones
Easy to put tones/games on phone
Lots of memory space
Text icons/animations already preset for use
Battery life could be longer - needs full charge every other day
Sometimes slow - especially if you are a quick texter!!
I got the SE T610 phone on an O2 online contract because I wanted to change from Nokias which I have ALWAYS had. Originally I ordered the Z600 but they didn't have any in stock, so I went for the T610.
And I can honestly say it is a million times better than any of the Nokias I have owned. I love this phone, I might not even upgrade when my contract is up! It's perfect for me!
The best bits of the phone for me have to be the multimedia capabilities it has.
There is so much space for tones, games, wallpapers etc! And the selling point for this phone has to be the ability to put themes onto it - like wallpaper that runs through every menu and every screen - changing as the menu changes. There are hundreds of these themes on the net, and with my contract they don't cost anything, so my phone can completely change its look whenever I want it to!! From Garfield to a howling wolf - if you want to put it on, this phone lets you do it!
Many people say the camera on this phone isn't that good - but for a mobile camera I have never had any problems with it - sometimes pics can turn out a bit dark, but if I wanted a camera, I'd buy one! The best thing about the camera on this phone is that once you have taken a pic (i.e. of friends etc) you can set that pic to a contact and whenever they call it appears, not only that, whenever they text the pic also comes up - wich is brilliant and very unique! That's another of my favourite features.
The sound quality of the ringtones is exceptional on this phone, although they are not real music tones, they are so in depth, it doesn't matter. And the volume is great, not too loud and not too quiet. The vibrate feature also adds to this.
The menus are all really easy to use and navigate, and the WAP/Internet function is good too. The only complaint I would have here is that reception isn't always great on the phone, especially when you use the internet. - It can sometimes slow up or crash. But this is rare.
Also, this phone is VERY sturdy, I have dropped it many times, and all the time it has been fine, no problems whatsoever - a few minor dents - but, now I have changed the fascia on it, it doesn't really matter.
Finally, on good points, there are SOOOO many sites etc that offer multimedia and ringtones for this phone, it's hard to see how people can get bored of it. I was surprised that there seems to be more things for this phone than for the most common Nokia phones.
On the bad side, the battery is quite short lived, it needs a charge every couple of days - but this doesn't change my opinion of the phone as a whole. Also, it can sometimes be slow, taking time to catch up with your commands especially when texting, and when applying a new theme. It may appear that the fone has stalled, but leave it a few mins and all will be fine.
Oh, and the screen can be difficult to see in sunlight - which isn't usually a problem - but sometimes it is a bit annoying!
Overall, I absolutely love this phone, I am so glad I went for it, and apart from battery life, I think it is and will remain the best budget camera Bluetooth handset on the market. It is so good, at least 4 of my mates have been out and got the same tariff and handset after playing around with mine. I'd 110% recommend it.
