General Comments

My Wife and I went for Sunday lunch in the Barley Mow in Clifden Hamden, which is part of the chef and brewer chain. We had eaten there and the Fox in Boars Hill and the food in both of these Chef and Brewer was excellent. On this occasion, however the food was terrible. My shoulder of lamb was dry and flakey, the ratatoulie was stewed and the sauce watery. If I had paid eight pounds it would have been poor, but at twelve pouns it was robbery. My Wife had a chicken cob, with tomatoes which curled up at the edges. We will not be going back, which is a pity as we both enjoyed. The Barley Mow in the past. The Fox in Boars Hill is still excellent.
