Chris C's Review of Russ Andrews Classic Powerkord with W320
9th Aug 2004
Overall Rating
- Value for money

Amazing improvement in sound quality, Durable finish. Relatively cheap for the improvement made (£75 each).
Bad Points
Require 'burning in' for a period, to be heard at their best. Standard length is quite short (3ft), and additional lengths become more expensive.
General Comments
I bought 2 Russ Andrews Classic Powerkord cables. One for my CD and one for my amp (both Arcam) and I can't believe the difference they've made! Quiet passages are just that....Quiet! There's less compression and clarity has been improved. I would never use freebie kettle-leads again if I had the choice. No quibble returns policy means you can return it/them if unimpressed and recieve a full refund. So it's got to be worth a trial at least! *bear in mind, I fitted two of these leads at the same time to my system, so I'm effectively reviewing them as a pair. Cannot give an indication of benefits if only one is used, (ie. just CD player)*

I agree the Power Cords are very good indeed having used them for a few years now. However I have just upgraded to Nordost Shiva and yes they are in a different price range but boy are they not just fantastic, certainly worth a Dem if you want to upgrade.
