Good Points

Clean, good facilities with efficient staff and within easy reach of Funchal (10km)


Bad Points

No night life


General Comments

Dom Pedro Hotel is A well run hotel but unsuitable for people with walking difficulties.
The pool area is well maintained and sun beds free and plentiful.
The hotel offers a full entertainments program but the quality of some of the evening entertainment was weak, however the local folk dancers were good.
There is car hire available close to the hotel; it is advisable to book this in advance as there appeared to be a lack of freely available cars.
This hotel would suit couples looking for a relaxing holiday staying in or around the hotel and taking a bus or taxi to Funchal.
In my opinion a 1 week stay is sufficient.
