General Comments

I visted a Little Chef at Moto services o the M1 on 31st July 2004. Some five staff were serving, I think I saw three more in the kitchen area. Yet our food, after our order, took almost 40 minutes to arrive. Were it a complex meal, or the restaurant packed with customers, this might be explicable. But the restaurant was half empty, and the meal very simple - I regularly prepare similar dishes myself in less than 15 minutes, starting with cold water and dry pasta. In addition, the charge for a glass (equivalent to a can) of coke was £1.99. Neither service nor quality were acceptable, and value completely absent.
They do OK breakfasts though.

Thats a load of rubbish, you get more than a can of coke in a glass

Well said - I stopped at a Little Chef recently whilst travelling on holiday with my family - first and LAST time - it was dreadful and cost a fortune. Never again. They MUST be able to serve better food at a lower cost - if not they will drive all their trade away.

No, you don't get a can equivalent in a LC glass . They load the glass full with Ice, and then fill it from a pump. It's a total rip off.
