Good Points

The 2 bedroom apartment was very clean, airy, well equipped, looked like new & very cool!
Excellent location. Entertainment team were excellent too


Bad Points

The Pool area was quite small. The external areas need a little attention. The Pool Bar was very expensive & not particularly nice.


General Comments

Overall we had an excellent holiday. Did not know what to expect and we were pleasantly surprised. The Garden Lago Hotel was extremely clean and airy. Maid service 5 days a week & towels changed whenever you needed them. Air Conditioning was invaluable and free. There was a wall unit in the Lounge area & main bedroom.

The pool area did become quite busy as the holiday went on. The area around the pool could be a little prettier, but the views over the harbour more than made up for this. The Pool Bar was very expensive and the lunchtime food wasn't great. We did go to the Beach a few days and there is also a kiddies park 5 minutes walk away (Goody Goody Park) which has a pool if you fancy a change from the hustle & bustle of the apartment pool.

The location was excellent too. Right in the centre of Cala'n Bosch on the marina. It is very purpose built but just right for a family with young children like us. We ate out every night & there are plenty of Restaurants to choose from. They are all excellent with children although the Kids menus did get a bit boring & never came with veg. However, they are all quite expensive - make sure you take lots of money with you. We had grandparents with us who babysat one night & and we had a lovely meal in the 'Aquarium'. This is next door to the Mexican restaurant, which is great because there is a children's play area at the back with a glass wall (so you can keep an eye on them!)it is full of Little Tikes toys too!

The Entertainment Team worked really hard and there were some talented people who performed some really good shows in the evening. However, it was all over by around 11/11.30. Which is just the right time for us. After this it was very peaceful.

We had a great holiday and would recommend it to anyone. If it wasn't for the Pool / external areas needing attention, I think these apartments deserve higher than their 2 Key Rating.
