General Comments

The Crosman RM622 is quite a gun, to say the least. It boasts power, accuracy and build quality that I have never seen on any of my previous airguns. It's sharp looks and good balance also add to it's appeal. It dieseled heavily out of the box, but was still very accurate. It's length makes it a bit difficult to handle for long periods of time. I have only found one problem with it. The barrel lock consists of a metal bar on the gun and a square notch on the barrel. Although it fits together quite nicely, it is not very secure. It only takes the slightest bump or push to cause the barrel to drop, and the pellet to fall (or sometimes even fly) out of the barrel. It's not a severe problem, but it could easily become a pain. Apart from this, I consider a very good buy for the money. It's a great way to get started in adult airgunning.

Excuse me oliando? You are from barrie...Ontario? A lot of places will not deliver over 500fps airguns to canada, where did you get yours if you dont mind me asking? PS I also live in canada.

    To my friend in Bomanville,
You are correct about finding air guns over 500 fps being difficult, but thats because you are looking in the wrong places like Wal-Mart or Canadian Tire. You need to go to Hunting shops. You will find different types of models at different shops but you will never find an air "pistol" that shoots over 500 fps only air rifles or long barreled air guns. Any and all air guns over 500 fps need to be registered through your PAL (Possession and Acquistion License). Air guns in this country over 500 fps are considered firearms and follow the same rules and regulations as shotguns or rifles. If you don't possess one you will need to go through the course. Most courses now have hunting and PAL as a joint course, call your local Ministry. I buy most of my firearms / air guns from Wolf Den in Utopia, Ontario just south of Barrie. Ask for Gary Banting. Most hunting shops carry air gun rifles that shoot well over 500 fps and upto 1200 fps. Also you can check Le Baron in Markham or Mississauga.

Really, i wasnt aware that gun shops would even carry over 500fps airguns in Canada. I found a US site that has b18s for 80$ and are going to send to me. If customs seizes my airgun i will definetly go to missisauga (my dad works there) so he can pick it up i suppose. What kinds of airguns do canadian gun shops sell, just the crosmans still or.... Thanks for your reply i appreciate it greatly.

    Hello Bowmanville.

Did you get your rifle? If so, from where? I'm in Caledonia Ontario. I will be taking PAL course, but would like to get the air gun now?
