Alround visability, manouverability, easy to drive
Total lack of luggage space in 7 seat mode
Better acceleration in top 2 gears
I hired an 04 reg Vauxhall Zafira 1.8 Comfort SE people carrier to carry myself, wife, 2 teenage sons, my daughter & fiance to Scotland for a weeks holiday. The severe lack of luggage space allowed us only 2 medium sized cases (1 in rear space,1 resting on arm rest between middle row seats) and a couple of holdalls.
When accelerating to keep up with traffic, especially on dual carriageways / motorways, the need to get into 5th gear quickly to maintain acceleration was annoying.
On the plus side, the very good allround visability coupled with excellent manouverability made getting into narrow spaces/driveways easy.
