Good Points

Light weight and sms counter is useful, also the battery life indicator is a good idea.


Bad Points

Battery life, reception.


General Comments

I have had nothing but problems since I bought my Ericsson T39 mobile phone in April. I have had 3 replacements and 4 repairs and my current phone is still faulty.
The battery life is advertised at 300 hours stand by and 10 hours talk time, Im lucky to get 200 hours and 2.5 hours.
The reception is terrible - I have been in places with friends with different phones on the same network - they have had full reception, I have had none.
Ericsson have been less than helpful with my problems, avoid this phone at all costs.

    I have the same bad experience with the T 39. It would be a great phone if it would work. The fact that the service of SonyEricsson is incredibly bad doesn't make it better. I just received a defect replacement for the faulty T39 I turned it. Now I am waiting for replacement number 4. Normal waiting time: 2-6 weeks each time. One would expect SonyEricsson checks there phones before they deliver them.
