Blue dye in some of the wood leaves blue marks on your hands when the decks wet, but I guess it happens to most coloured woods when they get wet?
My Element Bam fiberlight 2 lasted 7 months through wet, snow, ice and dry sunny weather. Its pretty dam durable it bends coz it's flexible. I did get a crack in mine on the second month of riding it but it didn't snap but that was off a 5ft wall and I landed badly. But it did not snap for a long time. Mine only snapped after a lot of punishment from falls and stuff, it had like 5 cracks in it and it still held together well, better than any of my other decks. Then when I snapped it in the centre it took a long time to actually pull it apart, that fibre glass is damn strong stuff. they're real good decks if you can afford them.
