Low effort cocking
Integrated scope stop
Kit comes with very cheap scope mounts.
This is my second review of the Benjamin Sheridan Legacy 1000 rifle. In the first review I stated that I was having a difficult time sighting-in the rifle.
I have since put some more time into the gun, and changed the following things
1) cleaned the barrel thoroughly
2) switch from Crossman premier domed to Gamo target wadcutter pellets
3) stopped trusting the parralax correction of the BSA 3-12x50mm scope.
4) put about 500 pellets through it.
Now I am getting .5 inch groups at 30 yards. and have dialled the scope in pretty well. I even shot two pennies dead centre at that distance with only a few shots.
I'm now quite impressed with the rifle overall. The plastic bits don't bother me at all as they are not cheap feeling at all.
