General Comments

Mine's a CRTD GSi 2l
Just traded in a Volvo 940 2.4 LPT S, and spent a long time looking for a replacement so bear that and the cost in mind. Road noise is high while engine noise (for a diesel) is low, The interia is well thought out with a good driving position and lots of head room (I'm 6'4" the wife 5'2") and the car suits us both. The displays and buttons are easy to use and understand. The clutch and gear-change are very light and the brakes which I first thought ineffectual are very efficient and smooth. the personal AC in the rear and remote for the radio will keep the rear passengers occupied on longer trips. Notification of all doors is useful although I'd like to see a cruse control, heated seats and seatbelt reminders (difficult with removable seats). We usually only install 3 seats since this represents further fuel saving and we like the space. We have a dog crate installed for our JR, The lack of tie-down locations made fitting tricky although the cargo net knobs were helpful. Lots of nice ideas, like auto illuminating ignition switch, touch button ventilation etc. I'm now getting used to the turning circle and the lower power output and have stopped driving like a Volvo owner. Overall very pleased.

My niggles would be no real 'storage' space. Engine is under-powered in comparison but then it's in a different class and performs well enough. No 'boot' cover as standard. Wheel trims could be improved and I'd rather have rear wheel drive. Temp control with the AC would be helpful.
